A message from Adelia Grabowsky, MLIS, CAS Health Sciences Librarianship, Auburn University

I would like to invite you to participate in a research study to understand how Advanced Practice Nurses are using smartphones to answer clinical questions.  I am interested in responses from those who do not use smartphones at point of care as well as those that do. You may participate if you are approved to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Alabama.

Participants will be asked to complete an online questionnaire which should take approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Information gathered will be used to better understand how smartphones are being used in clinical areas and how resources or training might be developed to improve access to information via smartphones.

There are no costs or anticipated risks associated with this study and there will be no compensation for participating.

If you would like to know more information about this study, an information letter can be obtained by clicking on http://libguides.auburn.edu/apn. If you decide to participate after reading the letter, you can access the survey from a link in the letter.

If you have any questions, please contact me at abg0011@auburn.edu or (334) 844-1797.

Thank you for your consideration,
